The Force Returns to Sea: More ‘Star Wars’ Cruises

Disney plans more ‘Star Wars’ cruises for 2018 and 2019.

Grab your lightsabers, because Disney Cruise Line is planning more Star Wars Day at Sea.

Star Wars Day at Sea is scheduled to return to Disney Cruise Line with 15 sailings on the Disney Fantasy only for 2018. The itineraries include a seven-day Eastern or Western Caribbean trip leaving from Port Canaveral. Moreover, the company recently announced more dates for 7-night Caribbean cruises in 2019. If you are a Star Wars fan, you have more chances to pay between $3,000 and $10,000 for VIP Star Wars experiences on a cruise.

Passengers can expect fun for all ages including legendary saga character meet and greets, live entertainment, guest speakers, movie marathons that will include all nine films and more. A “Summon the Force Show” will take place at night where iconic scenes will be recreated.

Guests will be able to live their Jedi dreams and personally meet the galaxy’s most iconic characters onboard and even take a photo with them. You can reserve a photo shoot time in advanced. During the cosplay parties, all guests are invited to dress up as their favorite Star Wars heroes or villains. Animation workshops will be available for guests where they will be able to experience the art behind Star Wars’ most beloved characters.
