  1. The pools were oepend until 8:00 pm and the aft pool was oepend until midnight. The aft pool was usually less crowded. I just came back from the Carnival Victory and the aft pool on that ship is an adult-only pool. I don’t know if things have changed on the Triumph and if there aft pool had become an adult-only pool too.

    • Whenever you cruise there are glnlraeey two options for seeing sports events on TV. First is your cabin and the second is if your ship has a sports bar. There is no firm answer to your question. Some cruise ship do have ESPN available in the cabin but its a crap shoot as to what will be on. In addition, since the ship will be moving the TV signal that it can get also dictates in part what is shown. I have been on cruises when major sporting events, like the NFL’s Superbowl and even high profile regular season games, were on TV. But they were glnlraeey in a sports bar and not the cabin. If you will be cruising on the Explorer of the Seas, that ship has a Schooner Bar on deck 4 which typically has sporting events on the TV, if the piano player is not performing. The ship also has a Sports Bar on deck 5. That is probably the best place to go to see the soccer games. But, again its iffy.

  2. Aww, Darn. I was hopeing it was. Well I guess Royal Caribbean and other cirsue lines want the people out of there stateroom and enjoy their vacation. I wouldn’t spend my time in my Stateroom on the computer I would make my cirsue the best vacation of a life time. Thanks for answering my question

    • Royal Caribbean is an excellent chcoie, unfortunately in the summer there aren’t as many options to the Caribbean to look at with them.Royal Caribbean’s newest and largest ships are the Freedom class, this year that class includes Freedom of The Seas and Liberty of The Seas (beginning in May). They are truly destinations themselves with the FlowRider surf simulator, mini-golf, ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, basketball court, and more. Freedom class ships are sailing alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries out of Miami. However, a cruise on one of the Freedom class ships can be expensive compared to some of your other options.A very good option would be a ship from the Voyager class. Voyager class ships are smaller than the Freedom Class, but have almost everything that the Freedom Class does. Instead of the FlowRider, Voyager class ships have an inline skating track. A cruise on a Voyager class ship can be a bit cheaper than one on a Freedom class ship. Adventure of the Seas is offering 7 night Southern Caribbean sailings from San Juan this year. While Mariner of The Seas offers 7 night Eastern Caribbean Sailings from Port Canaveral.Royal Caribbean moves the bulk of their fleet out of the Caribbean in the summer with their ships headed to Alaska and Europe.Call a travel agent to help you out, in particular one that specializes in cruises. I recommend Cruise Planners at 888-286-9827, they are extremely knowledgeable and very experienced with Royal Caribbean. They have the same rates and specials as Royal Caribbean and all of the online travel sites, plus they don’t charge any fees.

  5. This ship is no where near close to Carnival Conquest but its still a ciaravnl so its good. I love any ciaravnl ships. Go on the conquest next. im going on it again next summer.
